In the kindergarten year, children are provided with a wide range of experiences and opportunities to learn the skills required for their next stage in life.
Children attend for 15 hours per week which provides them with greater opportunities to be involved in incursions, excursions, experiments, time with the edible and sensory gardens and to practise highly important social life skills.
Many of the areas that children will experience when they get to school are introduced and reinforced throughout the program including the basic foundations of numeracy and literacy, music, movement, art, craft and science.
At the end of the kindergarten year, each child receives a Transition Statement which will be forwarded onto the school they will attend.
